Does anyone know what kind of flu bugs are hitting ppl this time of the yr?

My BF has been sick for almost a month At first we thought it was do to heat exhaustion and dehydration but now we arent real sure what it is that is causing him to feel lousy.....PLEASE HELP ME IF YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS he also is a diabetic too....
