What is a good snake to have for beginners, preferably one that doesnt eat rodents?

I have 5 snakes and I never heard of one eating crickets and stuff like but most stores have frozen mice and a good starter snake would probaly be either a corn snake or a little bigger is a king snake. My biggest snake is a 6 foot boa and it is easy to take care of so any snakes that start of small then grow.
